(b)         Effective October 4, 2007, Darlene K. Schroeder resigned her position as Vice President of Human Resources of Huttig Building Products, Inc. (the "Company"). The position will not be filled at this time. The human resources function will now report to David L. Fleisher, the Company's Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary.
