Commitments	13. Commitments We have entered into a number of agreements to conduct clinical trials and pre-clinical studies for further development of our lead product, Korlym, and our proprietary, selective GR-II antagonists. See the discussion in Note 2, *Significant Agreements* for further discussion regarding the commitments under these agreements. In the ordinary course of our business, we make certain indemnities, commitments and guarantees under which we may be required to make payments in relation to certain transactions. These include indemnities of clinical investigators and contract research organizations involved in the development of our clinical stage product candidates, indemnities of contract manufacturers and indemnities to our directors and officers to the maximum extent permitted under the laws of the State of Delaware. The duration of these indemnities, commitments and guarantees varies, and in certain cases, is indefinite. The majority of these indemnities, commitments and guarantees do not provide for any limitation of the maximum potential future payments that we could be obligated to make. We have not recorded any liability for these indemnities, commitments and guarantees in the accompanying balance sheets. However, we would accrue for losses for any known contingent liability, including those that may arise from indemnification provisions, when future payment is probable. No such losses have been recorded to date.
