Subsequent Events	Subsequent Events On July 25, 2012, Peter J. Kight notified the Company of his resignation as a Director effective on that date, and Debra L. Canner announced her resignation as SVP - Human Resources. Ms. Canner's employment with Akamai is expected to terminate effective as of December 31, 2012.
