Business Combinations

Acquisition-related costs during the three months ended March 31, 2017 were $1.2 million and are included in general and administrative expense in the consolidated statements of income.

SOASTA

In April 2017, the Company acquired SOASTA, Inc. ("SOASTA"), a leader in digital performance management, for $199.0 million in cash. The allocation of the purchase price has not been finalized as of the date of the filing of these financial statements. The acquisition is expected to give the Company's customers greater visibility into the business impact of their websites and application optimization strategies. The Company plans to add several new capabilities to its Web Performance solutions portfolio including a comprehensive set of cloud-based performance and business optimization solutions.
