Micromem Announces Private Placement

Toronto, Ontario and New York, New York, May 25, 2023 - Micromem Technologies Inc. ("Micromem" or the "Company") (CSE: MRM, OTCQB: MMTIF) announces its intention to raise gross proceeds of C$21,000 through a non-brokered private placement by issuing 200,000 common shares at C$0.105 per share (the "Private Placement"). It is expected that closing will occur on or about the date that is five business days after the date of this news release. The Company anticipates that it will use the proceeds for general working capital, including payment of outstanding debt.  All securities issued pursuant to the Private Placement will be subject to a four-month holding period. The Private Placement remains subject to final regulatory approvals.
