Jay W. Cleveland, Jr., a director of Metro Bancorp, Inc. and Metro Bank since 2007, submitted his resignation as director of both companies, effective January 18, 2010.  Mr. Cleveland cited a desire to spend more time to the needs of his company, Cleveland Brothers Equipment Company.
