Note 8 — Leases

We lease office space under an operating lease which expires on October 31, 2023. On June 30, 2022, the underlying ROU asset and lease liability totaled $71. On December 31, 2021, the underlying ROU asset and lease liability totaled $98. For the three and six months ended June 30, 2022, lease expense totaled $13 and $27, respectively. For the three and six months ended June 30, 2021, the lease expense totaled $14 and $28, respectively.

We also lease a facility for corporate promotional and marketing purposes which was prepaid at inception and expires in 2025, as amended. On June 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, the ROU asset totaled $799 and $948, respectively. For the three and six months ended June 30, 2022, lease expense totaled $75 and $150, respectively. For the three and six months ended June 30, 2021, lease expense totaled $75 and $150, respectively.
