("Bid.Com" or the "Company") announced that it has completed its previously announced private placement with Acqua Wellington Value Fund Ltd., under which the Company received CDN$3.1 Million (US$2.1 Million) in exchange for 900,790 common shares and 360,316 share purchase warrants of Bid.Com. The Company will use the net proceeds of the issue to fund its continuing growth in the business-to-business sector and for general working capital purposes. The common shares and warrants were sold in a private placement and may not be resold in the United States of America or Canada unless registered or an exemption from registration is available. The Company has agreed to use its best efforts to register the common shares and the common shares issuable upon exercise of the warrants with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
