Schedule of minimum future commitments related to the purchase obligations

(a) Unconditional Purchase Obligations and Purchase Order Commitments

We routinely enter into long-term purchase and sale commitments for various quantities and lengths of time. We have obligations to distribute and sell electricity and natural gas to our customers and expect to recover costs related to these obligations in future customer rates. The following table shows our minimum future commitments related to these purchase obligations as of September 30, 2013.
