Addendum to Proxy Statement

For Extreme Networks, Inc.

Annual Meeting of Stockholders

To be held on April 26, 2012

The annual meeting of stockholders of Extreme Networks (the “Annual Meeting”) was delayed until April 26, 2012, in order to accommodate the inclusion of a proposal from a stockholder within the proxy statement for the Annual Meeting. In order to comply with Delaware law, and as a result of the delay, the record date for the annual meeting must be changed from February 8, 2012, to March 29, 2012.

Accordingly, stockholders of record as of March 29, 2012, will be entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting.
