On March 1, 2011, Extreme Networks, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Bob Corey has resigned, effective as of March 9, 2011, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and as an employee of the Company. The Company has commenced a search for a new Chief Financial Officer.

EXTREME NETWORKS ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE TRANSITION

SANTA CLARA, Calif.; March 1, 2011 – Extreme Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXTR) today announced that Bob Corey has resigned as CFO and Executive Vice President of the Company to pursue other endeavors. The company will be retaining a nationally known search firm and initiating a search for a replacement.
