Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

On June 5, 2012, Umpqua Holdings Corporation announced that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.09 per common share, which represents a 29% increase over the cash dividend paid in the previous quarter. The dividend is payable on July 13, 2012 to shareholders of record as of June 29, 2012.
