Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 21, 2020, TC PipeLines, LP (the "Partnership") issued a news release (the "News Release") announcing a fourth quarter 2019 cash distribution of $0.65 per common unit payable on February 14, 2020 to common unitholders of record on January 31, 2020. A copy of the News Release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
