NOTIFICATION OF THE REMOVAL FROM LISTING AND REGISTRATION OF THE STATED SECURITIES
The NYSE American LLC hereby notifies the SEC of its intention to remove the entire class of the stated securities from listing and registration on the Exchange at the opening of business on December 31, 2018, pursuant to the provisions of Rule 12d2-2 (a).

The merger between Eaton Vance Michigan Municipal Income Trust and Eaton Vance Municipal Income Trust became effective after the close on December 14, 2018. Each share of Eaton Vance Michigan Municipal Income Trust Common Shares was exchanged for 1.105497 Eaton Vance Municipal Income Trust Common Shares.
The Exchange also notifies the Securities and Exchange Commission that as a result of the above indicated conditions this security was suspended from trading on December 17, 2018.
