Announcement Regarding the Evaluation of Partial Stake Sale in Turkcell Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Hizmetleri A.Ş. and the Mandate Given to an Investment Bank

Our Company’s Board of Directors has decided to evaluate alternatives for a partial stake sale in our subsidiary Turkcell Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Hizmetleri A.Ş., which offers innovative payments solutions under Paycell brand. The decision has been taken to provide resources to the company pursuant to the strategy of scaling up its overall business by accelerating growth in existing and potential markets. J.P. Morgan Securities plc will be mandated for the management of the sale process and meetings with potential investors will commence this month.
