Item 8.01.   Other Events.
On November 18, 2008, Lakes Entertainment, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the amendment to the Tribal-State Gaming Compact between the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and the State of California for the Red Hawk Casino has been approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
