Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 2, 2006, Lakes Entertainment, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians (the “Tribe”), a federally recognized Indian tribe, has signed an Intergovernmental Agreement with El Dorado County.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
