LAKES ENTERTAINMENT, INC. ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT
CHANGE AT RED HAWK CASINO
MINNEAPOLIS — October 12, 2009 — Lakes Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: LACO) announced today that Peter Fordham, General Manager of the Red Hawk Casino, located near Shingle Springs, California, has left the organization. The Red Hawk Casino is owned by the Shingle Springs Tribal Gaming Authority (the “Authority”) and managed by Lakes Entertainment. The Authority and Lakes are currently conducting a search for his replacement. Terry Contreras, Red Hawk Casino’s Assistant General Manager, will serve as Red Hawk Casino’s interim General Manager until a replacement is named.
