On December 21, 2007, the registrant issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of 5 cents per share on its common stock to be paid on January 18, 2008 to shareholders of record on January 7, 2008.

CENTRAL FEDERAL CORPORATION DECLARES DIVIDEND

Fairlawn, Ohio — December 21, 2007 — Central Federal Corporation (NASDAQ: CFBK) announced today that the Company’s Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of 5 cents per share on its common stock to be paid on January 18, 2008 to stockholders of record on January 7, 2008.
