1. BUSINESS AND ORGANIZATION

Trex Company, Inc. (Company) is the world’s largest manufacturer of wood-alternative decking and railing products, which are marketed under the brand name Trex^®. The Company manufactures and distributes high-performance, low-maintenance wood/plastic composite outdoor living products and related accessories. A majority of its products are manufactured in a proprietary process that combines reclaimed wood fibers and scrap polyethylene. The Company is incorporated in Delaware. The Company operates in a single reportable segment.
