On September 27, 2013, David E. Jorden, a member of the Board of Directors of Opexa Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”), advised the Company that he will not be standing for re-election when his current term expires at the 2013 annual meeting of shareholders.  Mr. Jorden’s decision is not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
