Nature of Operations	1. Nature of Operations: Lennox International Inc., a Delaware corporation, through its subsidiaries (referred to herein as “we,” “our,” “us,” “LII” or the “Company”), is a leading global provider of climate control solutions. We design, manufacture, market and service a broad range of products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (“HVACR”) markets. We operate in four reportable business segments: Residential Heating & Cooling, Commercial Heating & Cooling, Service Experts, and Refrigeration. See Note 21 for financial information regarding our reportable segments. We sell our products and services through a combination of distributors, independent and company-owned dealer service centers, other installing contractors, wholesalers, manufacturers’ representatives, original equipment manufacturers and to national accounts.
