Income Tax Disclosure [Abstract]
Income Taxes
Income Taxes:

As of September 30, 2014, we had approximately $1.5 million in total gross unrecognized tax benefits. Of this amount, $1.2 million (net of federal benefit on state issues), if recognized, would be recorded through the Consolidated Statement of Operations. As of September 30, 2014, we had approximately $0.4 million (net of federal tax benefits) in interest and penalties recognized in income tax expense in accordance with FASB Accounting Standards Codification ("ASC") Topic 740.

We are currently under examination for our U.S. federal income taxes for 2013 and 2014 and are subject to examination by numerous other taxing authorities in the U.S. and in jurisdictions such as Australia, Belgium, France, Canada, and Germany. We are generally no longer subject to U.S. federal, state and local, or non-U.S. income tax examinations by taxing authorities for years prior to 2008.

Since January 1, 2014, numerous states, including Indiana, New York and Rhode Island and the District of Columbia, have enacted legislation effective for tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2014, including changes to rates, apportionment methodologies and unitary reporting requirements. The impact of these changes is immaterial.
