(b) On September 19, 2011, ECB Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) and its wholly owned subsidiary, The East Carolina Bank (the “Bank”), received notice that Gregory C. Gibbs has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company and the Bank effective as of September 14, 2011.
