Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 10, 2018, Peabody Energy Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors
declared a quarterly dividend of $0.115 per share on the Company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on June 4, 2018 to shareholders of record on May 21, 2018.
A copy of the Company’s press release regarding the foregoing is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
