4. DIVESTITURES AND DISCONTINUED OPERATIONS

Information Management

On May 16, 2012, the Company completed the sale of its Information Management line of business to NEC Corporation. During the three and nine months ended September 30, 2016, the Company recorded income from discontinued operations, net of $10.0 as certain contingencies and tax positions related to Information Management were settled or adjusted.
