Quicksilver Resources Inc. (the “Company”) is unable to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q within the period required by the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, because of certain management developments as further explained in Note 15 to the condensed consolidated financial statements in Item 1 of its Quarterly Report. The Company will file its Quarterly Report on May 13, 2013.

No changes are being made to the results of operations as previously disclosed in our press release dated May 7, 2013. The Company anticipates that it will report significant changes in its results of operations for its quarter ended March 31, 2013 compared to the prior-year period. Based on the information available at this time, the Company anticipates that the net loss per diluted share for the first quarter of 2013 will be $0.35, compared to a net loss per diluted share of $1.24 for the prior-year period.
