  Other Events.
 
On December 8, 2008, Quicksilver Resources Inc. issued a press release announcing that the proceeds from the sale of the Lake Arlington Dry System to Quicksilver Gas Services LP were used to repay $42 million of the company’s second‑lien senior notes.  The company also provided an update on cash and undrawn capacity under its senior secured revolving credit facility, an operational update, and a hedging summary.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
