SHORT-TERM INVESTMENTS	NOTE 4 SHORT-TERM INVESTMENTS Short-term investments are securities with maturities greater than 90 days at the time of purchase that are available for use in the Company's operations in the next twelve months. The short-term investments, primarily consisting of certificates of deposit, are classified as held-to-maturity and therefore are carried at cost. The remaining contractual maturities of the short-term investments were one to nine months and one to 11 months as of December 31, 2013 and 2012, respectively. Interest and dividends are recorded into income when earned.
