SHORT-TERM INVESTMENTS	NOTE 5. SHORT-TERM INVESTMENTS Short-term investments are securities with maturities greater than 90 days at the time of purchase that are available for operations in the next twelve months. The short-term investments, primarily consisting of certificates of deposit, are classified as held-to-maturity and therefore are carried at cost. The remaining contractual maturities of the short-term investments were two months to eleven months and one month to eleven months as of March 31, 2013 and December 31, 2012, respectively. Interest and dividends are recorded into income when earned.
