ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.

On July 27, 2005, SAVVIS, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its receipt of a notice from the Listing Qualifications division of the Nasdaq Stock Market indicating that the Company has regained compliance with Nasdaq Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(4). The notice stated that the Company’s common stock closed above $1.00 for 10 consecutive business days, and therefore, the Company is in compliance with the rule. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
