Thomson Reuters Announces C$750 Million Note Offering
 
 
NEW YORK, NY, March 26, 2009 Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI; TSX: TRI; LSE: TRIL; NASDAQ: TRIN), the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, today announced it has entered into an agency agreement with a syndicate of Canadian investment dealers for a public offering in Canada of C$750 million (approximately US$610 million) of 6.0% notes due 2016. The notes are being issued by Thomson Reuters Corporation and will be unconditionally guaranteed by Thomson Reuters PLC.
 
The offering is expected to close on March 31, 2009, subject to customary closing conditions. Thomson Reuters intends to use the net proceeds to repay certain notes due in 2009.
 
The notes are not being offered or sold in the United States. This news release shall not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy any of such notes and shall not constitute an offer, solicitation or sale in any jurisdiction in which such offer, solicitation or sale is unlawful.
