MFA Mortgage Investments, Inc.
Announces Second Quarter 2006 Dividend of $0.05

     MFA Mortgage Investments, Inc. (NYSE:MFA) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share of common stock for the second quarter of 2006. The dividend will be paid on July 31, 2006 to stockholders of record on July 17, 2006. The second quarter 2006 dividend of $0.05 per share is consistent with the dividends paid in the third and fourth quarters of 2005 and the first quarter of 2006.
