Item 8.01               Other Events.

 

                On November 1, 2007, Neuco, Inc. (“Neuco”), a company in which CRA International, Inc. (“CRA”), holds a 36.4% interest, and which CRA accounts for under the equity method of accounting, received $10 million in connection with the modification to a pre-existing licensing agreement related to certain intellectual property rights. This non-recurring, one-time cash receipt is subject to income taxes. CRA's share of the net after-tax effect of this Neuco income item will be included in CRA’s fourth quarter consolidated statement of income under the line item “Minority Interest.”
