On June 8, 2006 Salem Communications Corporation issued a press release announcing its participation at Deutsche Bank’s 14th Annual Media & Telecommunications Conference being held Tuesday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 14, in Santa Monica at The Fairmont Miramar Hotel.  Additionally, the company confirmed its net broadcasting revenue guidance, previously provided on May 8, 2006, for the fiscal quarter ending June 30, 2006.

Salem Communications Confirms Second Quarter 2006 Revenue Guidance;

Company to Present at Deutsche Bank Conference in Santa Monica, CA


CAMARILLO, Calif. --June 8, 2006--Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:SALM), a leading U.S. radio broadcaster, Internet content provider and magazine publisher targeting audiences interested in Christian and family-themed content and conservative values, today confirmed its second quarter 2006 guidance, previously provided on May 8, 2006, for net broadcasting revenue to be between $54.2 million and $54.7 million.


In addition, the company announced that David A.R. Evans, Executive Vice President - Business Development and Chief Financial Officer, is scheduled to present at Deutsche Bank’s 14th Annual Media & Telecommunications Conference being held Tuesday, June 13, and Wednesday, June 14, in Santa Monica at The Fairmont Miramar Hotel. Salem is scheduled to present on Tuesday, June 13 at 9:10 a.m. PST. The presentation will be webcast live on the investor relations’ part of the company’s website, www.salem.cc.


In addition to its radio properties, Salem Communications owns Salem Radio Network®, which syndicates talk, news and music programming to approximately 2,000 affiliates; Salem Radio Representatives™, a national radio advertising sales force; Salem Web Network™, an Internet provider of Christian content and online streaming; and Salem Publishing™, a publisher of Christian-themed magazines.
