(Nasdaq: EGBN), the parent company for EagleBank, today announced the declaration of its quarterly cash dividend, in the amount of $0.07 per share. The cash dividend will be payable on June 30, 2006 to shareholders of record on June 13, 2006. Eagle Bancorp also announced today the declaration of a 1.3 for 1 stock split in the form of a 30% stock dividend in respect of its common stock. The stock dividend is payable on July 5, 2006 to shareholders of record on June 14, 2006.
