Item 5.02 Departure of Director or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On October 17, 2005, Javed S. Patel submitted his resignation as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing of WJ Communications, Inc. to pursue other opportunities. His resignation is effective immediately.
