7. SHARE PURCHASES

        During the three and six months ended March 31, 2015, the Company purchased 68,463 and 117,025 shares of common stock for an aggregate price of $1,278 and $2,352, respectively. During the three and six months ended March 31, 2014, the Company purchased 35,415 and 57,120 shares of common stock for an aggregate price of $909 and $1,430, respectively. All of these shares of common stock held in treasury were retired prior to March 31 in the respective quarter of purchase, except at March 31, 2015 and 2014, the Company held 2,000 and 1,681 shares of common stock in treasury, respectively. As of March 31, 2015, the Company was permitted to purchase up to 614,999 additional shares under its approved purchase plan, with no expiration date or restrictions. The Company accounts for treasury shares using the cost method.
