On June 27, 2007, Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (the “Trust”) announced that it had extended until 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on June 29, 2007, unless otherwise terminated or further extended, its previously announced consent solicitation relating to certain series of the Trust’s outstanding unsecured notes (collectively, the “Notes”) to amend the indenture governing the Notes.
