Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement

 

On July 25, 2005, Washington Real Estate Investment Trust entered into an agreement with SunTrust Bank renewing the unsecured revolving credit facility agreement between WRIT and the Bank until July 25, 2008. The agreement increased the maximum available commitment under the facility from $50 million to $70 million and also added a carve-out for letters of credit in the amount of $14.0 million. Other borrowing terms under the facility remained the same in all material respects.
