On September 23, 2013, Robert J. McCarthy, Chief Operations Officer of Marriott International, Inc. (“Marriott”), announced his intent to retire from Marriott, effective in February 2014. Mr. McCarthy’s duties will be assumed by other Marriott senior executives.
