On February 5, 2008, Richard S. Braddock resigned from the Board of Directors of Marriott International, Inc. ("Marriott"), based on the desire to avoid complications arising from expanding business between Marriott and another company with which he and a family member are affiliated. Mr. Braddock did not resign on account of any disagreement with Marriott's operations, policies or procedures.
