SECURITIES AND EQUITY INVESTMENTS Our financial instruments consist of cash and cash equivalents, accounts receivable, notes receivable, investments, accounts payable and a loan agreement. We believe that the carrying value of these financial instruments in the accompanying Condensed Consolidated Balance Sheets approximates their fair value due to their short-term nature. At March 31, 2019, and September 30, 2018, we carried a cost method investment at $408 and $558, respectively, which is equal to our cost less impairment.
