On June 18, 2015, Anworth Mortgage Asset Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that its board of directors (the “Board”) declared a dividend of $0.15 per share on the Company’s common stock for the second quarter of 2015. The Company also announced that the Board authorized the Company to acquire up to an additional 5,000,000 shares of its common stock through its Share Repurchase Program.
A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.

Anworth Declares a $0.15 Per Share Second Quarter Common Stock Dividend and Announces Increase to Share Repurchase Program
SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 2015--Anworth Mortgage Asset Corporation (NYSE: ANH) announced today that its board of directors (the “Board”) declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.15 per share for the second quarter of 2015. The common stock dividend is payable on July 29, 2015 to common stockholders of record as of the close of business on June 30, 2015.
Also, the Company announced that the Board authorized the Company to acquire up to an additional 5,000,000 shares of the Company’s common stock through its share repurchase program.
