Regulation FD Disclosure. |
On
September 10, 2012, United Rentals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it will participate in the Morgan Stanley Industrials and Auto Conference on Thursday, September 13, 2012. At the conference, Michael
Kneeland, chief executive officer of the Company, and William Plummer, chief financial officer of the Company, will present information regarding the Company, which may include a discussion of the Company’s business, financial performance and
forward-looking information. The presentation is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
