Subsequent Events [Text Block]	Subsequent Events On April 29, 2014, the Company sold a MainStay Suites hotel located in Greenville, South Carolina for $3.1 million. The sale of the property included all fixtures, furnishings and equipment located in the hotel and all other assets, rights and property pertaining to the ownership and operations of the MainStay. On May 8, 2014, the Company's board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.185 per share of common stock. The dividend is payable on July 15, 2014 to stockholders of record on July 1, 2014. Based on the Company's share count at March 31, 2014, total dividends to be paid are expected to be approximately $10.8 million.
