Description of the Business	NOTE 1- Description of the Business Ingredion Incorporated (“the Company”) was founded in 1906 and became an independent and public company as of December 31, 1997. The Company manufactures and sells starches and sweeteners derived from the wet milling and processing of corn and other starch-based materials to a wide range of industries, both domestically and internationally.
