GOODWILL	12. GOODWILL At December 31, 2013 and 2012, goodwill totaled $94.8 million and $55.4 million, respectively. In 2013, the Company recorded a $32.4 million reduction of goodwill related to Merganser, which was comprised of a $24.0 million impairment charge based on market information that became available to the Company and an $8.4 million reduction resulting from the sale of the net assets and operations of the entity. The Company also recorded $71.8 million of additional goodwill associated with the acquisition of CreXus in 2013. There was no goodwill impairment for the year ended December 31, 2012.
