PMA Capital to Release First Quarter 2003 Results
and Hold Conference Call with Investors

Philadelphia, PA, April 17, 2003–PMA Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: PMACA) expects to release its first quarter 2003 financial results on Wednesday, May 7th, 2003 after the market closes.
