          On April 27, 2007, Inspire Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISPH) issued a press release, attached to and made part of this report, announcing that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved AzaSite™ (azithromycin ophthalmic solution) 1% for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.
